Anne Marie is Bureau Chief of Reuters in Hong Kong. She has nearly two decades of experience in Asia, working mainly in Hong Kong and Singapore, with a stint at the Irish Times in Dublin in between. Anne Marie took on her current post in the spring of 2014 and oversaw award-winning coverage of the pro-democracy protests that paralysed parts of the financial hub later that year. She joined Reuters in Singapore in 2002 and has worked on the companies, finance, stocks and political and general news teams. Prior to Reuters, she worked at the Irish Times in Dublin and South China Morning Post in Hong Kong.
